In the hills of Galilee, Palestine, wild miramia (sage) grows among the rocks. Deeply rooted in the earth, it stands strong against the wind. With love, we have carried its beautiful fragrance into the world.

We chose the name Miramia in honour of this fragrant Palestinian herb. To us, it symbolises the Palestinian woman: strong, resilient, full of life, and always able to create beauty and hope, even in difficult times.

From Miramia Kitchen in Nijmegen, the Palestinian woman shares her story with the world. Not only through words, but through aromas, flavours and dishes that carry memories of Palestinian homes, mothers, grandmothers and warm family gatherings.
